If there is no competing traffic, could it be possible that ISP is shaping traffic?   Does this always happen after a certain amount of time? (fixed)?

Thanks.  I have no way of knowing if Comcast business ISP is doing anything to the traffic, but prior to my Firewalla VPN setup there were never problems with uploads at all for many years.  I used to port forward my 7 security cameras and view them remotely 24/7.  Now with the Firewalla VPN setup the cameras would be working very well for a few days and then all of a sudden the videos would be interrupted because of the slow-down of the upload from the server side.  Immediately after restarting the VPN session would fix the connection issues.

Assuming it's not ISP related, is there anything that I can do to remedy the problem?

If you are using UDP now, try to switch to TCP and see if things will be better.  If you run into issues, please let us know, we do not have many people swapping protocols from site to site VPN.

I am sorry but where in the app can I configure to use TCP instead of UDP?

@Nelson. You can change the protocol of VPN server in the app in "VPN Server" -> "Setup" -> "Port". After you change the protocol on the server-side box, you also need to delete and re-create the site-to-site VPN on client-side box so that the client-side box can get the updated profile from the server-side box and create the VPN channel accordingly.
