I have never seen a 360 degree view of the Firewalla red or blue appliance.  Is there one?   Most firewall appliances have a WAN input and LAN outputs.  The install diagram for Firewalla only shows one ethernet connection to the router/switch LAN.  How does it intercept all internet traffic?  What is the thin slot on the front of the device for?   How are the intrusion detection algorithms dynamically updated?  Is there an included cloud service that provides those updates?  What does the online service provide?  Thanks...
