Pi-hole in docker install worked but ads not blocked
I'm a bit of a fish out of water with networking and SSH, but I'm learning. I managed to install Pi-hole in a docker on FWG. Everything seemed to go just fine. I can access the Pi-hole admin console, but if I turn off Firewalla ad block to check pi-hole, it's not blocking any ads and is only showing a few queries from localhost. I updated the DNS server on the networks on Firewalla to be the pi-hole IP address 172.16.0.2. DoH is turned off. I'm sure this is something fairly simple but I'm stumped.

I have the same issue.
I followed the step-by-step guide, and everything looks fine - but it doesn't seem to be using my DNS settings.
The confusing thing for me, is the part where you setup the Primary DNS, I have two networks I can configure - WAN and LAN. I am able to edit the Primary DNS for the LAN, but not for the WAN (which is set to the IP of my ATT router).
When I use whatsmydnsserver.com - it's clearly using the AT&T DNS server - so I feel like to get this to work I need to be able to edit the WAN value - but I can't.
What am I missing?

So I think I'm closer to this working.
The "WAN" network was originally setup with a "Connection Type" of "DHCP". I have since changed that to "Static IP" - and the result is that I'm seeing a LOT more activity on the Pi-Hole side, and it's reporting that it's blocking things.
I'm still seeing some ads I don't think I should be - but maybe that's some Pi-Hole configuration at this point.
