My gold says the same, but VPN works without issue.

    Thanks for the response, Andy.

Mine, unfortunately, doesn't seem to be working. I have tried connecting to it through my phone's OpenVPN app and it doesn't connect... I did try though.

One other thing to try, as I did have issues initially where I could not get OpenVPN app to connect, try turning off VPN server and turn back on and re-download the config.

    Thanks again for the response.

This is good advice; typically, this is something I would have tried. Not sure why I didn't think of it...

Unfortunately though, it still didn't work.

Honestly, the only other thing I can think of is to factory reset the FWG and try again... It wouldn't take long, but I'm still hoping to avoid doing that.

The best way is to send an email to help@firewalla.com,  please include support information.  Also, make sure when you are testing, your phone is outside the home network.

There is no need to reset, in fact, most of the time you should not reset, the problem is likely minor.

    Firewalla,

Thank you for the response. I apologize, but before I got the message, I was already resetting the router... It was a fairly simple process and didn't take long at all. As soon as I did so, the VPN worked just fine. Not sure what happened, but I'm glad it's up and running...

Well, it was working for a whole half hour anyway... Now it's back down. I'll send an email. Thanks again.

I figured out what the issue is...

For anyone who has a Nintendo Switch, you will not be able to set up UDP port forwarding. For some crazy reason, Nintendo decided it can have all of the UPD ports on your router, which will block off access to any other devices (such as the VPN) from accessing those ports through the router from WAN.

Honestly, not sure why I didn't think about this earlier... Thanks for the help.
