Device traffic not being captured.

If you are sure they are streaming, try to reboot them (one of them at least) and see if there is a pike of traffic on the Gold. If there are some, the issue is likely these two devices are using long-lasting TCP sessions, which doesn't close the session for a very long time. Firewalla at the moment only triggers accounting when flows close;
If you still don't get flows, then please send an email to help@firewalla.com and we can look at it.

+1 here
I would like to have some traffic shown as well.
My scenario: Client that establishes it's own VPN connection. I then run tests and produced traffic over some hours. Did not close the VPN connection after that. Nothing was shown in my Gold.
The next day I rebooted the client, therefore the VPN connection was closed and *tada* suddenly all the traffic was shown - at once.
The issue is, that the whole traffic is recorded at a single point of time. Therefore there is a huge spike now.
I might understand the technical implementation (likely like NetFlow collection if I'm not wrong). Maybe it would be good to do a kind of "flush" every X minutes to update the stats? By doing so we would at least have a more realistic traffic monitoring.

+1 here as well
I've noticed this as well. I saw a huge spike in traffic in the graph and looked and realized it must have counted all my vpn client traffic at once. And like you said it won't count the traffic until the vpn connection is closed. Doesn't help much if trying to detect vpn traffic in real time on the network which I assume is still in beta.
