This only happen if the red is not getting an IP address or connection to your modem, which cause it to reboot as well.  Would you mind send an email to help@firewalla.com, we may need you to grant us remote support to look at the problem.  If you can, also send us how your network is connected.

I am having the same problem on Gold.
    - Internet went down, but is now back up. (Plugged laptop into cable modem and have internet)
    - wifi access point is UP (can access AP web portal through wifi)
    - network is DOWN. No device in the network can access the internet
    - couldn’t originally access Firewalla through app on wifi (and on cellular the app said “Firewalla box is I reachable”
    - Firewalla IS accessible through SSH

Everything I read about rebooting the Firewalla says it will RESET the configuration. I don’t want to do that (yet), just reboot so it will reconnect to the cable modem again.

I have used “sudo reboot” from SSH, so we’ll see what happens.

I’m surprised that Firewalla doesn’t recover from an internet outage more gracefully.

It really depends on what's happening when the internet is down.  For example, we have noticed in some arris routers, when something happened, it will start to issue 192.186.100.x network to Firewalla. it takes some time for the firewalla to get an ISP address.  (same behavior on one of the motoralla)

So if it happens again, just go into firewalla and issue ifconfig eth0, see what's the IP is.

Or you can just take the phone next to firewalla, tap on networks, you can see the IP address as well.
