Firewalla Red - Draytek Vigor2860n

Hi I was wondering if I can VPN from my Red to my office router VPN server (Draytek Vigor2860n)

It appears to only have the following protocols available PPTP, L2TP, IPsec, L2TP over IPsec.

I'd like to have a remote VOIP phone to the office phone server. SO only the phone is on the VPN from my home.

Can this be done?

  Tony, those protocols refer to what the vpn server and client use to establish the secure tunnel between your off ic and home. Once that tunnel is set up, almost any protocol, including voip can use it to communicate.

  Since the Draytek supports OpenVPN, you should be able to obtain a VPN profile from it and configure the Red to connect to it.

  Thanks Bob,

  I'll have another look.

  I've never seen any Open VPN setting in the Draytek setup before, But I'll double-check in the morning.

  Tony, I may have been looking at the specs for the 2960 series of modem/router, where it expressly calls out OpenVPN.
