Troubleshoot Blocking Device Internet Traffic?
Is there a FAQ or list of troubleshooting steps that can be done when blocking internet traffic per device is not working correctly.
Also maybe a list of require settings that need to be enabled or disable on the home router and on the Firewalla device.
I see intermittent traffic for devices that I have turned on block internet. Sometimes blocking works well and another times internet traffic continues to work intermittently or works 100%.
I have RT-AX92U router in mess mode with 1 node attached other than the main router.
I have a blue Firewalla device that is set to simple mode.
IPv6 is disabled on the router.
Firewalla monitoring is turned on for these devices.
I am not sure what else to check on that is causing this issue.

Check out this guide https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000555074-Troubleshooting-When-Running-Firewalla-
If you can't block, best way is to look at the device's net flow. (devices->[find your device]->tap network flow, if you don't see it there, it means firewalla is not seen the traffic, then please try turn on ipv6 (you already did that), if you still don't see anything then send us a note help@firewalla.com
One other common cause is when people use extender like devices; extenders creates a shadow device (one that clones your real device with a different MAC). When this happens, you need to block both the real device and the clone.

I have turned on the IPv6 on the Firewalla app.
I believe most of the devices in my home have IPv6 addresses but I do not want IPv6 functionally working on my home network via my router via internet. So that is why I have IPv6 disabled on my router. If I have IPv6 disabled on my home router and enabled on the Firewalla app will that cause any issues with the Firewalla device? Or do I need to enable IPv6 on the router so the Firewalla can work properly when IPv6 is turned on for the Firewalla app? I just don't want any of my devices leaking or communicating with the internet via IPv6. That is what IPv4 is for. -
Adam, if you do not have any ipv6 addresses inside your home network, then don't need turn on ipv6 inside Firewalla. Please send help@firewalla.com an email, we may need to look inside and see what's going on.
