Open Ports Created by Minecraft and Plex
I have recently installed Firewalla on our home network and I noticed that several open ports had been created by 2 applications - Minecraft and Plex. My kids use Minecraft (Windows 10 version) quite often and I have a Plex server running for our media files. Can I close these ports and still use the applications? Is it possible to leave them open without security risks or should I close these straight away?

Likely these ports were opened by UPnP. Usually, when this happens, the app is trying to enable remote access. Plex for example, very likely using the port to let you watch your videos' remotely. If you block the plex port, then you will likely to disable the ability watch video when you are outside our home network. We don't have experience with Mindcraft ... for that you can try to block and if people scream, you can unblock :)
Plex may have a setting somewhere to disable that port, you will have to search the web.
On the plex example, one way to do the same is to use Firewalla VPN and VPN back then access your plex video's. OpenVPN is far more secure than accessing the ports directly.
