Blue is spoofing devices and IPs

I have the IP from the app reserved in my routers IP table, but it isn't showing up correctly. I use my routers IP reservation table and connected device table to monitor the authorized devices and my device listing is showing a spoofed IP address and device name.

When I saw this activity, I shutdown different areas of my network to investigate; even noticing that my router was having me re-login due to being logged in already. I traced it down to the Firewalla's MAC address.

Is it standard for the Firewalla Blue to spoof IP addresses and devices on the network?

  It is normal for firewalla to spoof IP addresses under Simple mode.  https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004292514-How-does-Firewalla-Intercept-Traffic-

  On the other hand, the DHCP mode, which is an overlay, doesn't spoof, it is a more solid mode if you are willing to configure the router.

  I totally read that, too. I was already considering the Dhcp just to get it off the modem.

  Maybe our fault, we likely being too engineer.  We will add a section to explain the side effect of spoofing in the future.
