Abnormal Upload Alarm
Firewalla Red regularly reports an abnormal upload alarm from my Iphone
My IPhone is uploading about 60MB of data daily to "gcs-asia-00002.content-storage-upload.googleapis.com" however I do not use any google apps.
I am trying to track down what app is sending the data. Can Firewalla help me do this.
Regards Greg

I actually just posted a similar question, my iphone is uploading to amazon firehose.us-east-1.amazonaws.com; wondering if it's metadata or what it is, and if I should block it. I know this doesn't really help answer your question, but i feel like a lot of unnoticed uploads going to these big companies from our phones.

@greg, firewalla so far doesn't have correlations with network data to the app. It is something difficult to correlate. But ... one trick is just to block and see which app complains :)
@david, firehose is likely this https://docs.aws.amazon.com/firehose/latest/dev/what-is-this-service.html
And for everyone, the upload alarms are pretty something we put in to detect larger or 'abnormal' transfers. It may not be a problem, but something to be aware of. This is like that security camera in front of your house, and it alarms you when a cat walks over ...
Here is our first try to explain the upload alarms https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020926913-Abnormal-Upload-Alarms-Tutorial
