Firewalla changes it's IP Adress so VPN can't connect

I have FRITZ!Box 7412. I live in Germany. I setup firewalla. My first problem is It doesn't block any ads.
My second problem is I did the port forwarding but Firewalla's IP Adress changes all the time. So the VPN can't find my firewalla. I think I give up. I guess firewalla is not compatible with my modem.

  Please don't give up, we will help you get it back up.  Can you tell us which mode are you using? Simple or DHCP Mode?    If your router is changing firewalla IP, then the best way is to give it a static IP.    Let's do the static IP later.  

  Can you give us support access by sending an email of the keys to help@firewalla.com (Please do not post it here).  We can take a look and see why ad block is not working.

  Try switching of IPv6 support with your FRITZ!Box - I had similar issues and this fixed it for me.

  i did. but then i got no internet connection. so i switched it on again. still my firewalla changes it's ip or my modem does it I dunno. It's not working for me I guess

  See if there is a configuration in your router that can extend the DHCP lease time to be something longer.  Like a week or so.  If not, then see if you can reserve IP for Firewalla on your router.

  The DHCP time was 10 Days. I changed it to 100 days. I hope I understood what you said :/ I read some tutorials to reserve/change IP adress for the devices on my home network. I did change it to 192.168.178.49 but after I restart the firewalla box the IP changes. I also did the port 1194. all of my devices change ip adresses. so if I can't get my modem to stop changing the IP adresses of the devices on my network I won't be able to setup VPN or use the firewalla box.

  Likely the modem doesn't like spoofing.  Have you tried to get DHCP mode running?

  In firewalla app If I open the DDNS section, my public IP is empty. how can I fix this?
