Do you have the IP address it trying to access? (or the name of the TeamViewer IP?)   We can check.  (also turn off ad block and family mode, see if it is better)

If you know the IP, try to ping it and see what happens.

    Dear Firewalla,

I have Ad Block enabled, family mode disabled.

Initially I couldn't connect to the Teamviewer client, but after a few attempts it seems to connect successfully, as if it passed some authentication.

Now I can connect to the Teamviewer clients without any issue.

I feel like the same goes for SMB protocol, seems to hang up at first and then successfully connect afterwards.

Do you have any explanation why its like this?

    @Firewalla

    Thanks :)

Is SMB the file sharing protocol?  Are you running that over the internet or over LAN?

    Dear Firewalla,

Yes, it is the file sharing protocol. I'm connecting through NAS server over the internet. The NAS server is connected to router which has Firewalla Blue attached to it.

Are you trying to access your NAS server from outside via an open port? or accessing NAS via VPN?  Or this problem happens locally?

It happens locally, as well as server outside via open port.

It seems that the first time to access is always blocked, then after a few attempts it will allow.

After the first attempt, seems something is kept and next time you access it (even after a restart, for example) it connects fine.

    Hi,

Next time if you see this problem, can you go to device history and see which team viewer servers are getting accessed?   We will try to emulate the problem here in our lab

    Hello,

    Where is device history?

Tap on Devices -> [Find the device] -> "Network Flows] -> tap on [History]
