Various issues. Not working.
Hello, Got my Firewalla Blue device yesterday, Hooked it up and it went through the setup using simple mode on my Technicolor DJA0231 Modem/Gateway (Telstra Australia ISP) and was working OK for a while and then the Firewalla device froze and I had to reboot it. Unfortunately it ended up with the green and yellow light on solid with no change after numerous hard resets.
Today I downloaded the Firewalla Blue image, formatted the SD card, burnt the image to the SD card using etcher, unpaired the Android app, cleared cache and app data.
Connected the firewalla to the Modem/Gateway, powered up firewalla left it for 10 minutes to start up, open app, pair device & start setup and about half through the Setting up page the Modem\Gateway rebooted. On the Setting Up page I got a greyed out button saying something like retry setup. After the Modem had booted I ran setup again but it instantly said Simple Mode not compatible use DHCP or force Simple Mode.
Since I had the modem already setup and serving ip addresses, I forced simple mode and it looked as if it was working OK but the modem keeps resetting after about 2-3 minutes. So I set it up using DHCP Mode and have even more problems with devices uncontactable and not being able to get an IP for my wireless devices.
Tried resetting the modem back to factory defaults and it still dose the same thing.
Removed the firewalla device and Modem hasn't rebooted once.

Looks Like I fixed it with the "DHCP mode on XB6 and other Xfinity Routers" work around. No more
random reboots of Modem/Gateway and wireless devices able get IP no problem.
I also have a server with virtual machines set to static IP running on the Modem/Gateway ip range and all
seems good so far.
So to summarize,
Technicolor DJA0231 - Simple Mode= Not Compatible DHCP= YES* Requires Special Setup.
