Apps bound to this device

 Hello,

 

First of all, I'm very happy with my Firewalla. Little by little, I am regaining control over my network.

I already learned a lot, especially with my "connected objects" (lights, thermostat, connected amp...).

I was horrified when I realized the amount of personal data that was sent to constructors!

 

For now, I have a question about this line in the mobile app settings / About :

"Apps bound to this device                  2 >"

And if I click to get the detail, I have one line:

"***********                         Ben's iPhone"

 

What is it about ? I don't know Ben, I don't know pollokb :)

  Stephane, will create a case and have our developers have a look.   (I have also hidden the email, in case that's private information. 

  What that is saying, there is another phone that's talking to your device.  We need to support access to your device to take a look at it first.  You should see an email with a case id. 

  Please also include where you acquired the device.

  I've sent you the credentials for remote access.

  Is there an option in the mobile app to revoke bound apps ?

  The only way to revoke is have the phone that's paired to unpair with your device on their end.  

  The best way is to factory reset the box as following https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004796633-Flashing-Image

  This will reset the content, generate a new private key and make the box as new.
