Here is a router that I am having trouble with now that the settings have been fix I forgot to post this problem as well

    Router : Nighthawk X6S R8000P

Problem: In simple mode it seem to not work correctly the WiFi will not work meaning they cannot connect to the internet (they still connect to the router)

To fix this I need to disable monitoring I have not tried DHCP Mode after I try it I will post back not sure if this is the correct post to say this or should I start a new one

    UPDATE - Same Day

DHCP Mode seems to work no trouble so far on all three signals(bands?)

Thank you Fernando, likely the X6S is not compatible.  It is not like X4S, which totally shuts down ...  will update our compatibility list.  Thank you for letting us know.

We encountering two cases where Fritzbox 6490 not able to do VPN.  And that issue is related to how the service provider is tunneling ipv6.  We will likely enable ipv6 native on the Firewalla, the work is logged, the exact date of delivery is TBD.

Quote from a customer "I think this is because my isp (Unitymedia. cable provider in Germany ) uses ipv6 and a NAT IPv4 DS-lite-Tunnel (ipv4 over DS-lite)"

Does it work with D-Link DIR-615 WIRELESS N 300 Router (India)? Thanks!

@VSS, we have not heard any routers form D-Link is not compatible.  From our experience, likely it will work in the Simple mode (plug and play), or DHCP mode.  For sure that router will work in DHCP mode.

Will be the routers TL-WR4300ND v1 and TL-WDR4300 from TP-Link supported by Firewalla Blue?

@sebastian, if you mean decrypt https traffic, no ... we can't and will never do.  If you mean block sites such as https://youtube.com or an ip address or ... a category of sites (like video/gaming) we  do that well.

Just bought a Netgear Nighthawk X10 R9000. Simple mode fails. My question is would DD-WRT firmware matter? If not, in DHCP mode can I assign static IPs based on MAC addresses? Does port forwarding work?

This is a strange one, it uses Qualcomm chipset which is usually not compatible with Firewalla's simple mode, but ... we see some of our customers are using it with Simple mode.  If you are handy reconfiguring routers, give it a shot.

As of DD-WRT, it should work, the issue with compatibility is really the drivers that comes from Qualcomm.

DHCP mode at the moment is pretty fixed.  But ... if you require these features we can create a issue and have them inserted into our back log.

Port forward should work, I am using it at my place with the Synology router. (which uses the same / or like Qualcomm chip set)

James,  we can see all SKY brand routers using simple mode.  As of latest, we don't have that data.

@Firewalla and @Annie Lu, I'm a french user and I confirm that Firewalla red is compatible with "Orange Livebox 4". I have a fiber optic subscription.

    Detailed characteristics are here: https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Orange_Livebox_4

We have seen one case where an older firmware on NETGEAR R6220 was causing slow throughput to the Red.  Once the firmware is upgraded, the problem went away.
