Can't click "Continue" in "Setup"

I have a Google Pixel, trying to connect a Firewalla though Google WiFi.

I connect everything and scan the QR Code. Now I am stuck at the "Set Up Firewalla" screen. The "Continue" button is grayed out and there is a message on screen saying "To get started, keep your phone and Firewalla in the same network"

I have tried connecting my phone to both the main WiFi and the guest WiFi, but the message is staying the same.

Aaron, first check if you have the latest software. I believe the main WiFi is the place you will need to connect to. (If you are into networks, Firewalla and your phone should all have the same network/mask). What happening is the app is thinking Firewalla is not on the same network. It is just waiting there. Worst case, kill the app and launch again.

I have reconnected to the main unit, and unplugged the other 2, as well as rebooted the main unit.

My firewalla app is the most recent and have tried closing the app and stopping the app.

Rebooted phone as well, still no change.

We added some debug message in the safe launch page in case you stuck in the step of checking subnet. Please upgrade the android app to beta 1.55 and try again. Please make sure your android phone and firewalla box are connected to the same router network. After that, If you still stuck in the step of checking subnet, please give us the screenshot of that page. Thank you!

Finally able to re-add the firewalla and test.

The error I have now is "To get started, keep your phone (192.186.86.100,0.0.0.0) and your Firewalla (192.186.86.92) in the same network.

Summarize for others we found this as

"It looks like a bug of android itself, the netmask returned from android lib is invalid. We are working on the fix."

We've just made a fix for your case and please try new beta(1.57 or later) from google play. Please let us know if it still doesn't work and better provide us with the error message on the page that you may stuck on. BTW, google play may have some delay to propagate new release.

I downloaded the new version and was able to go through the quick setup on my device.

Everything seems to be working great!
