MicroSD on Gold SE

Just got Gold SE setup. Relatively a newbie to Linux and first time user of Firewalla. Wondering what this empty MicroSD card slot is for? 

I have a 128GB card for use and really want to setup Pi-Hole on the SD card. I have seen some instructions on using SD card for FW Purple but no articles for Gold SE. 

Appreciate if someone can point me to an article for Gold SE or give me simple instructions. Thank you.

  You can use it to flash the device https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/19523706861843-Firewalla-Gold-SE-How-to-Flash-Installer-Image 
  
  You can also use it for additional storage (e.g. for running docker containers without impacting the storage on Gold SE. 
  
  The basic instructions found https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/4415441687443-How-to-use-an-SD-card-as-external-storage-in-Firewalla-Purple apply but you need to check the path names etc to see if they are different for Gold SE. I don't have access to my Gold SE at the moment to verify for you.

  PiHole works fine on the local storage - that's what we have been doing for about four years.  That said we do have a 512GB SD on our for archiving logs and for other docker containers.

  @chris care to share script used for archiving logs? did you have to do anything special re:path names?
