Using Firewalla as router with AUSA Model: XSR250GK
I have Optimum Online that comes with the following modem/router combo: AUSA XSR250GK. I called into support and they said that they can put it into bridge mode but it only works for wifi and not ethernet. Has anyone dealt with this issue? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

It sounds like they might not know what they are talking about.

More lilkely Wi-Fi will be disabled in bridge mode.

That post was actually very helpful. Question: should I be able to get internet from an ethernet connection from the modem/router combo to my computer? I thought I shouldn't but I still can access the internet. But when connected to the firewalla, I get an IP address rather than the ones that start with 192.168.x.x. So I figured the bridge mode was enabled.

Yes, typically.

That's correct. This scenario is very similar to the one described under BGW210 here https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/4411167832851-Firewalla-Router-Mode-Configuration-Guides
