FWG with Dream Machine Pro to allow iPad access to network
We have a Unifi network in-house that consists of a UDM Pro SE, one 24 port switch, one 16 port POE switch and a few other little 4 and 8 port Unifi switches throughout the building. We have a main server that we house all of our design files on that we want to give access to a handful of people in the field using iPads. We also have an account with LogMeIn for a VPN and remote access if we want to work home.
I cannot get the iPads to connect through the LogMeIn VPN and it seems like an issue on the LogMeIn side from a bunch of Googling and forum posts. Could I insert the FWG between the UDM Pro SE and the switches and use the internal VPN to allow the iPads in the field to access the files on the server?
I am most likely going to purchase the FWG anyway for the ad/content filtering and geo-blocking, but it would be nice if it would also give the iPads access to the server. TIA

Have you tried using the firewalla WireGuard server? (https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500004087521-WireGuard-VPN-Server-Configuration)

If your application (the one that runs on the iPad) can address the other side using DNS name, or IP address, then site to site VPN should work. More on the capabilities of site to site VPN here https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/5515850433683-Firewalla-Site-to-Site-VPN
