So I just got the Gold SE, and have ATT Fiber 2Gb BGW320-505 gateway, with the static IP package of a public /29. The NGW is in bypass mode, and Passthrough is OFF per ATT when using the static IP packages. I connected the Gold SE to the 5Gb port on the BGW, and it reflects a 2.5Gb connection. I assigned a static IP to the WAN port, and off we go, for about 3-4 minutes, then the WAN connections drops for 20 seconds, and reconnects. It continuously does this. My Fortigate 61F, Palo Alto PA220, UDM-Pro, and psfense when connected to this port and at 2.5 GB do not do this. Support's response literally was "You could disable the network connectivity tests but I personally would feel better if we could determine why there is so much inconsistent packet loss." I asked to have the issue escalated, or I will have no choice to return the $449.00 paperweight, extremely disappointed.

When you mention "down", was the network really down? or just firewalla complaining?

If it is firewalla complaining, yes, you will need to change or modify the test targets. If it is the network is down, please let me know the case number, I can help you esclate.

Down, like DOA down during these times. It’s like the port is fluttering. 81477 is the case
