Wifi for WAN and LAN ?
Some of the firewalla products allow their additional adaptor Wifi-SD to be used as a backup WAN. Some devices (maybe only the firewalla purple?) have a local short range wifi for the LAN side, built in.
My question is if there are any devices that could do both at the same time, and specifically if the backup was always used, either it's marked as primary or the primary is the ethernet cable which is never plugged in.
The use case is, for example, a hotel which only has wifi. I bring 1 firealla device which has a local LAN, or perhaps bluetooth, so that my phone can configure it in the hotel room to join the hotel's wifi (Which might require if it cant do the normal type of configuration calling the front desk and having their IT group allow the macaddress of my firewalla, just the same as if I were trying to use a fireTV stick or apple TV).
Now I have a small hotel room lan with the security and vpn abilities of the firewalla.
Is this possible with any of the Firewalla devices?

The Purple has Wi-Fi built-in and the Wi-Fi can act both as a WAN adapter and as a LAN Wi-Fi AP at the same time.
I don't believe any of the other Firewalla products support this. There is a Wi-Fi USB adapter that can be added to the Gold, Gold SE, and Gold Plus, but this will only act as a WAN adapter and cannot be used for the LAN.
