Unable to log in through "ovatn.net" captive portal with Firewalla Purple

I've been attempting to set up a Wi-Fi network connection at a hotel with my travel Firewalla Purple. First time I've seen this problem appear since it was configured for travel purposes. The hotel has a captive portal with a 'captive.ovatn.net' URL, with the full address having the MAC address of the router(?) and the local IP address forwarding me to the captive portal page. I have tried with 'Emergency Access' turned on, toggled off Ad Block, and made sure that any connections haven't been blocked. I end up getting the following error when it tries to load: 'net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED'. Has anyone had experience with this one? Any tips and suggestions would be appreciated. Until then, I'll just be using the VPN while being connected directly to the hotel WiFi.

  Do you have DoH on the Firewalla Puprle? or Using Unbound?

  For device groups, those are active. I'll have to check for the wireless network, and attempt again.

  Please diable them all if possible, and try again. DoH and Unbound will prevent intermediate DNS from resolving the captive portal.

  Tried again with both features disabled, as well as ad blocker just to be sure. Can confirm that I was able to proceed past the captive portal.

  Thanks for the reminder! Going to try enabling these now to see if the connection breaks afterwards.

  Follow-up: Re-enabling DoH afterwards posed no issues after establishing the connection, but will later once the IP address lease expires. Then we're back to the same routine. I'll leave it off until I leave and re-enable it after returning home.

  I was traveling in Montreal this past weekend and never got the Purple to connect to the hotel. VERY frustrating.

  Got the portal on my iPhone but could never get it on the Purple. 
  
  

  And then strangely the Purple started complaining about not finding the SD

  Did you modify WWAN MAC ? If yes, please remove the new MAC from the WWAN. After saving, everything shall be rolled back.
