Firewalla seeing 100% packet loss at regular 15 minute intervals
I have a Firewalla Purple that is the frontdoor WAN filter for the network. Behind it is a mesh router. The event list is a list of 100% packet loss at very regular 15-minute intervals. I tried doubling the WAN connection speed to be sure there was not a backup from some regularly scheduled process. That did not help.
How can I learn what the cause of the loss is?

First when you see the 100% packet loss, does your network still work? Can you tap into the event and see what test failed? If this down is not "real", then the issue is likely the test targets.
If it is real, your network is not connecting every 15 min,
1. Your ISP is having an issue. (this is what firewalla tests), you should ask them.
2. You have a switching loop either at your ISP side or LAN side. (assuming VLAN is used)
If you can't find anything, you make sure you tap in

I logged into a system behind the firewalla and repeated speed tested at from just before to just after the expected packet loss. I did not see any. So, either it is a short outage and by luck I missed it, or it is not real.
I then gave it a new test target (a firewalla gold,1,000 miles from here). It did not report an outage and did report latency at 45 ms. for one cycle and then the 100% packet loss was back for the rest of the night. I could see the remote firewalla in trace route from the desktop with no loss.
I now set the test target to the local ISPs DNS address and have not seen any packet loss reported for the last hour.
