PlayStation 5 has no internet on wake when connected directly to FWG

Hi,

I've been seeing an issue for a while where my PlayStation 5 does not have internet for 30 - 45 seconds after waking from rest mode. The PlayStation is connected directly to my FWG. It sounds similar to this issue, but the issue has no resolution.

The issue seems to go away when I place a switch between my PlayStation and my FWG.

Any advice on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

  Hi
  What kind of cable are you using? It could be that you are using a straight cable by mistake. Try using a cross cable.

  You can either use a switch or disable STP
