Update: I believe this was caused by a bad cable between my modem and Firewalla. Around Feb 1st, I asked some neighbors if they were having issues with high latency on our AT&T Fiber service, and none of them had issues. I then swapped out my ethernet cable, and the latency issue immediately resolved. This issue from Google persisted for a few weeks, but has since stopped, so I think my bad packets were somehow spamming Google's servers and flagging me?

It is highly unlikely to be related to the cable. If you are not doing anything "abnormal", likely you have inherited a bad reputation IP from your ISP. And likely when you swap cable, your public IP changed to something else.

Hmm, well, it went away on its own anyway. I scanned every computer on my network for infections and didn't find anything. I do have some overseas friends who use my VPN connection to the internet from time to time, so maybe that triggered something? Or maybe one of their computers is infected with something.

The cause can be so many things, sharing internet may be just one of them.
