All LAN ports on the same subnet
I am getting mixed information on whether the Firewalla gold plus supports its 3 LAN/ ethernet ports on the same subnet (for example): 192.168.0.xxx for all 3 LAN/ ethernet ports like my existing router does. (LAN IP = 192.168.0.1) Do I HAVE to use a switch attached to one LAN port on the Firewalla to achieve all devices being attached to my (Firewalla) router via its LAN ports or via the access points to be on the same 192.168.0.xxx subnet? (Are the LAN ports on the firewalla gold+ switched or unswitched?) I have seen complaints about people having issues with the Firewalla's network "loop detection" if they do not use a switch to have all devices attached to the Firewalla in router mode reside on the same subnet. IP addresses taking a long time to be assigned because of the "network loop detection" unless a switch is used for the same subnet - Is this true? or do I have nothing to worry about?

LAN ports on the firewalla are all "routable ports".You can use them as independent networks (network segmentation based on port), or "put them together" and have them on the same network (switched). You can do this via the network manager, creating a network, and assigning more than one port to that network.
STP is used for loop detection, if you know what you are doing, you can turn it off. I don't think it will cause getting an IP slower, unless ... you really have a loop
