How do I assign an internal DNS server for OpenVPN to hand out to clients when connected
How do I assign an internal DNS server for OpenVPN to hand out to clients when connected?
Right now all OpenVPN clients are getting the WAN DNS server that is assigned to the WAN network on the firewalla.
I need OpenVPN clients to get the internal DNS server so they can use mapped drives and other services that rely on DNS.
Right now the VPN network is assigning a 10.27.141.x/ IP address to clients and 66.196.212.10 as DNS.
The Open VPN public IP is 66.64.35.38.
I need clients to be able to route to internal endpoints like the server files and be able to run software.
The internal DNS server is 192.168.50.9

I have the gold plus.
I have it set like that already, but it still hands out the WAN DNSAnd it used to work about 6 months ago when I first set it up. But it quit working and now hands out the public DNS from the ISP.
I also reset the profile and password, but still picking up the WAN DNS instead of assigned DNS in the Network -> OpenVPN -> config
Its like an update occurred that broke the functionality.

Have you tried to turn off and turn on OpenVPN Service in the app? (Box main screen -> VPN -> OpenVPN)
It may hand out the WAN DNS, but the actual effective DNS should have already been the internal DNS server. (Firewalla will intercept the DNS and redirect it)
Restart OpenVPN service will update the config file so that DNS server in the config file will be updated too.

I turned off and then on but no luck. Can ping IP but not by DNS name.
I reset profile but no luck. Same results
Added Wireguard VPN and same results. Hands out WAN DNS instead of configured DNS.
Can I pay yall to screenshare and solve this issue immediately instead of once a day chats?
I need to get this working and have been at it for a week.
