1Gig Dual Wan Inconsistent Speed
I have submitted a case for this but wanted to post here and see if anyone else is experiencing this issue.
I have Dual WAN setup with AT&T and Spectrum both 1Gig Circuit.
AT&T is the primary and Spectrum backup. Mode is failover.
Even though the mode is backup I have routed some systems to use the backup ISP but am noticing that I can only get 550Mbits MAX speed on this circuit. I can get 940Mbits up and down on primary AT&T circuit no issue.
I have tested the cables (they are good) also tested direct connection from PC to Backup ISP (Spectrum) modem and can get 980Mbits down no issue but it drops to 550Mbits when Firewalla Gold is connected to modem.
The WAN ports for the ISP Modems are 2.5G ports so no mismatch with speed.
Has anyone seen this issue before?

Not running PPPoE.
Tested from browser to speedtest.net. seeing 550Mbits max.
Tested from browser to http://fire.walla:8833/ss/ LAN - Firewalla seeing 1Gig or more consistently.Tested from firewalla CLI using speedtest on each ISP interface seeing 1Gig or more consistently.
So I do not understand why the inconsistent lower speed using speedtest.net only for one ISP though.

"Tested from browser to speedtest.net. seeing 550Mbits max." how did you direct traffic to the secondary ISP?
When you are testing inside the box and pointing to the secondary WAN, routing is not involved, so likely you get everything to the secondary WAN. If you are routing using firewalla, and your speedtest program uses a server that's not on the route, it may split traffic
So, if you are testing on the box and getting gigabit, the problem is very likely to be related to speedtest
