Purple cannot connect to wifi for WISP mode

Currently travelling which is where I use my Purple in WISP mode.

Had it since the indiegogo campaign with no real issues.

All of a sudden I cannot get it to connect to the current wifi where i am. Was fine for 3 to 4 days but now just wont connect.

Tried resetting the device. Taken it off the beta program. But whatever I do cannot get the wifi connection back.

How would I go about diagnosing the issue ? Hardware issue ?

  Does your current wifi have a captive portal? have you tried the 2.4ghz mode?

  No captive portal. Tried try 2.4 ghz only but no difference. Won't connect.

  This is to a standard vodafone router in someone's house.

  Ignore that, tried it on a different wifi and all ok.

  No idea what the other router I was connecting to was doing.
