Upgrade gone wrong?

Hello I updated from 18.0.4 to the latest via the instructions below, it showed successful. But now when I try to setup the firewalla it tells me it has not internet. I tried restoration from backup and factory reset. I can still pair with it, but when I try to do a clean setup it errors out saying it cannot connect to the internet. I verified that the cable is good to the modem. Also that I can directly connect it to my laptop and pull an ip and surf the web.

Please advise.

  A bit more info, I now have it back online in DHCP non router mode.

  What is the relationship between DHCP and none router mode? Was your old unit running dhcp mode and you setup in router mode? you tried to setup in router mode and then have to do dhcp mode? How is your firewalla wired at the moment in dhcp mode?
