Still a work in progress. I may be getting newer switches from work. I have another 3750 downstairs. I use WIFI to link upstairs to downstairs. The servers are downstairs so when we have outages, we run a cat5e for a temporary backbone. Planning on running 3 Cat6, 2 multi-mode pairs, 1 single mode pair, 1 BIDI solution to built the backbone trunks/link aggregation and two DAC(or one DAC and one AOC) for some of the upstairs interconnects. Lots of technology in place. Definitely using VLAN'ing, split horizon and spanning tree as well. Layer3 switching is the standard here as it's provided a tremendous performance boost. The Cisco and 2 Sophos boxes are currently not powered on or in production, nor are some other routers and gear. I have plans to emulate a lot of things I do at work at home. The shown Firewalla Gold Plus replaced a Blue Plus. Got some SonicWall routers that may go back into production soon as I build up another remote network that can VPN in.

Made a 2u box with a lot of stuff I needed and also wanted it to be portable. Contains everything for redundancy, power for 60 minutes when I lose power and just needs a single wall outlet and whatever my modem of choice needs. Covers go on the front and back. It has wheels. The screens are for two separate piholes.

Simple but does the job:
Topology: Modem -> Firewalla -> Eero (bridge mode) -> Switch -> Other hardwired eeros and ethernet ports throughout the house
Internal network has 10G connection from local NAS to desktop computers via a 10G switch (top switch)
Old iMac used for network monitoring as seen below (love that firewalla desktop interface!)

Definitely need some cleanup.
Comcast business internet modem, with a 5G fail over backup hooked up to a Firewalla Purple. Into my Asus Zen AX wifi. Those main devices are on a UPS. Backbone to 2 floor mesh repeaters and one media closet. Also pictured is my headless ubuntu Alienware home server, running home assistant among others, Fookos Odin F3 3D printer

You guys have some really strong rack game! I've a pretty light load here. Spectrum cable modem is WAN into Firewalla. One Firewalla port is home VLAN, another is tagged for the work SD-WAN device. The media server is segregated, and there's another AP elsewhere in the house also isolated for guest use. I'm glad the Gold will finally have a rack mount option so I can make more room for Vector 2.0 to play during the day (look how sad he is).

My UniFi setup. Currently an FTTP 1000/50 Internet fed into a USG-Pro, then out to a UniFi 48 Port PoE Switch. Synology NAS for Household storage. Every room in the house has at least 2 x Cat 6a outlets.
Temperature Fan Controller for the extractor fans in the cabinet.
Future plan is to swap the USG-Pro for a UDM-Pro, add Cameras and Doorbell and place everything behind a Firewalla Gold SE (on pre-order). Current max speed of Fibre Internet here is 1GBps so I am just future proofing. The USG-Pro can't do DPI at my line speed so this is turned off.
Rack mount for the Firewalla Gold would work quite nicely. I can just pop out one of the blanking plates

Like some others, this is a work in progress. I was excited to pull my Sansui GX-5 audio rack out of the basement after 20+ years. Who knew that "19-inch rack" in 1976 would mean the same as "19-inch rack" in 2023?
This is pretty simple compared to most arrangements already posted. I'm using my Firewalla Gold in failover mode and it works like a charm for AT&T fiber with Comcast backup. Also have a Firewalla Blue, though it's not currently inline.
There's a new UPS on order (to rack mount, of course), and at that point I have to up my cable management game. Otherwise, it's too embarrassing for me to even show up. -
Vote..For..Me: If I win I’ll do a free give away for some of my old network gear, I have 1u super micro servers, edge pro router, Cisco firewall, sonic wall firewall, gig network switches, and 4 more of the Dell EMC2 servers you see, I’ll let every one pick what gets to be part of the give away and then put every ones name into a random drawing and ship it free to the location of your choosing.
