Block keywords on youtube

Hello.

It is possible to block some "keywords" from youtube search ? 

Not sex and porn. I know this kind of keywords block with safe search or porn off. 

I want to block some OTHER keywords from youtube search. 

And one thing more. I want to block specific channels on youtube. 

It is possible with RED version of firewallla ?

  You can not block specific keywords in youtube searches directly.  But you can turn on "safe search", which triggers google to block that for you.

  I have had same exact question. I'm also looking for specific key word search string restrictions at box level {not just Youtube but also in general}. Is this something we can explore?

  You would need to use a packet sniffer, like WireShark, to see what users are doing at a more granular level.

  You can't.

  Youtube traffic is encrypted over https.  The only way to break this encryption is using a man in the middle meathod.  This requires a special certificate be placed on the device running youtube and also processes inside the firewalla to decrypt the https stream via proxy. 

  Without proper management, this type of decryption is likely more harm than benefit, since the same method will also be able to decrypt banking apps ...

  The best way to control youtube is just turn on "safe search".  It is controlled by google, but definitely useful for sensitive material https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022653793-Safe-Search
