Does Firewalla support Thread Protocol?
I bought a HomePod Mini recently and looking to install some light bulbs that use Thread. I don't know much about this technology but from what I have read, the router needs to support it. Does FWG support this? If not, is the Thread Protocol something that can be added through software updates?

From what I researched the only thing that is required is IPv6. Make sure you have that enabled on the FWG and you should be set. Thread is a Mesh network that links all devices to each other without the need to have a Hub. All devices connect to each other, so each device has the ability to act as a "router" or a "node/end point".
This sounds a little like Amazon's Sidewalk ... in that a device will communicate with another, but FWG will see that the receiver did the transaction. (Ring Spotlight talks to the Ring Doorbell to get to the internet. FWG assumes the Ring Doorbell was the one that initiated the transaction, not the Spotlight).
