Trouble with Arris BGW210
Having a hard time with Firewalla and ATT (Arris BGW210):
1. First set up with simple mode. Got notifications, alarms, and the group settings did stop the Xbox from working but not sure about the iPad. But no porn filtering, e.g. I am not seeing the differences illustrated in this link: https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022653793-Safe-Search
Opendns was not working but if I understand it right, that's because of ATT.
2. Then I saw posts to use DHCP mode. So tried that. Still no porn filtering. And when I tried the "Internet Block" and/or "social hour," our iPad still was getting Youtube just fine.
3. My son showed me the private address switch in the wifi section of the iPad. For whatever reason, it generated a quarantine alarm but its internet was not stopped, even though I had not released it from quarantine. So it seems new device quarantine is not working.
So what are the steps to get full (or substantial) firewalla features to work with BGW210? I may not have it set up exactly right. But are there some limitations with ATT Fiber and BGW210 that will not be solved? The alarms are useful but I really want Quarantine New Device and Internet Block to work on iPad at least.
Thank you.

Also, with the BGW210 in passthrough mode, it seems to be giving the firewalla the public address of 76.nnn.nnn.nnn. There is a warning of an Invalid Local Subnet at the top of my app. "Subnet 76.nnn should not be used for private networks." Is that just part of the "passthrough mode" or is there an additional step to stop that? For the BGW210 is Simple mode or DHCP the best approach?

Please do not put BGW210 in passthrough mode and connect firewalla red/blue/blue+ to it. It will likely cause problems with your network and in cases, your ISP as well. The red/blue/blue+ should always connect to a router.
BGW210 should work in simple mode. If you do see some devices are blocked, need to see why this particular device is having problems. ( iPad). The most common issue we see is, if the iPad runs iOS 14, it may generate random MAC, so you need to make sure you controlled the right iPad. (you can check by matching the MAC address on the iPad (current one) with the devices->iPad MAC.
