Delayed app status
The iOS app often fails to update in a timely way. For example, if one of my dual lan connections changes state I sometimes get a notification while the iOS app shows a different state. It takes several manual refreshes before the app eventually updates.
There are lots of other examples where the app doesn’t portray updated info. In this one respect, Unifi does a better job. Network changes are refl3cted in near real-time.

@james we have very different expectations and usage patterns
I don’t leave the firewalla app running unless I want to see what is going on or command it to do something like change a setting. So a session is rarely over 15 minutes tops.
if I have it open I absolutely want to see accurate data and response or I can’t debug certain issues. Responsiveness is not only meaningful in establishing causation (I did x and y happened) but it is a hallmark of good devicesi would gladly sacrifice small amount of battery to reduce the latency like eero, nest, Ubiquity, smartlife/tuya, ASUS, and other iot/networking devices I have used do. This isn’t an unreasonable request.
