    Firewalla

Firewalla images are for Firewalla box only. It is NOT bootable on other ARM platforms.

I believe that is not true.
I was running firewalla red on orange pi zero for long time with no issues at all.

Unfortunately orange pi zero is now old model and had been replaced by orange pi zero 2

I will say, that the only way we get all this great protection and functionality is because the folks at Firewalla sell their hardware.  If the software just gets cloned and used on other gear then where do we all end up.

Plus Orange is just a rip off of the Raspberry Pi which is a not-for-profit foundation.

Of course other manufacturers have cheaper offerings - the didn't have to do the hard research and development - they just had to copy someone else's work.

    But from the original creators!

I certainly don't want to bypass the system and do anything illegal. I have bought firewalla and am just looking for a way to make it work again. I would disagree on the statement that firewalla is profiting from hardware selling.

I would say that what they are selling is their software solution, which is based on open source of course, but they have customised it in such a way that they have made it unique.

You will agree that when we buy a firewalla product, we are buying their solution and ongoing support through their updates.

Firewalla was once basing their solution to raspberry pi and I understand why they stopped. They could not possibly support the dozen boards that come out almost monthly and this is why they standardized in specific boards.

All I would like to know os which board is suitable for the firewalla red so that I can resurrect mine :))
