Can you double check if you configured the correct segment and using the correct local or search domain?

    https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500002445242-What-is-the-Firewalla-local-domain-and-search-domain-

    Search Domain

The search domain is specific to each network segment. You can give different networks different domain names, such as mydevice.iot, mypad.home, etc. For example, you could rename your subdomains to .lan1, .lan2, .lan3, etc.

    • Search domain is not supported on Firewalla Red, Blue, and Blue Plus.

To see your device's search domain: Network Manager -> any Local Network -> scroll down to find Search Domain

I have this same problem on a recently factory defaulted FWG, box version 1.9751 / iOS App 1.53.

Two different networks, one VLAN and one "LAN" (untagged).  It looks as though whichever search domain name I change last, it changes for them both.

Appears to be a bug as this was never the behavior before on the FWG.  I just recently switched back to it.

I found some community comments related to DoH and VPN server, both of which I'm using.  DoH via Cloudflare, Wireguard VPN.

I was previously using both of these without experiencing this problem, though.

We tested on Purple 1.9751/iOS 1.53 with DoH (Cloudflare) and wireguard VPN server, didn't see such issue.  Could you please send the detailed information to help@firewalla.com? Our engineer will look into your issue in details.

    Hi RDubbs,

I believe we have an Android bug and we will fix that. I think it is a display error only, and the Search Domain actually is changed correctly. You can confirm that by trying to ping the device by the correct hostname and see what happens. The bug will be smashed! 🦟
