Gaming blocking alerting but not blocking
I would like to understand what might be misconfigured in what seems like a straightforward setup.
A group of devices in my home network have gaming blocking set to on, however, instead of blocking gaming websites, I get alert notifications on my phone and then I have to go and block each site individually (or add them to the target list). This seems very counterintuitive to me. Game streaming websites are not affected at all, and neither is Steam.
Similarly, I found that by blocking the VPN target list I get notifications but not actual service block. Video, YouTube blocking seems to be working, however.

Some more detail:
- Device: Gold- Router Mode
- I assume ALL as I constantly have to update the target list of new sites that my son discovers and I get alerts that device X is playing games on xyz.com, etc.
- Features that work:
- Full internet blocking
- YouTube App blocking
- Roblox App Blocking
- Video
- Blocking internet
- Allowing on-schedule target list to pause
- Disabling and enabling the internet on schedule
Social block is also strange, so far I see that reddit is allowed but I get alerted.
Gaming is just alerting, have to block sites individually.

One other bug that I'm seeing. I observe my son playing on Nvidia's Geforce Now even when Games blocking is enabled (we have a subscription that I allow to play only during a short window of time on the weekends) and Nvidia grid domains are all blocked. I completely block the device's internet, and his mac continues to stream game from Nvidia as if nothing has happened. The only way for me to interrupt this was to reboot Firewalla.
Something is broken but I can't understand what, on the mobile app I see blocked traffic with all data flows blocked but the machine is actually online and playing.
