FWGP loses internet connection every 15-20 min
After 1 week if having setupthe FWGP I am now getting ISP outages 1-3 times per hour, 1-3 minutes each outage every 15 minutes, making the internet all but unusable now. I see that others have experienced this issue and am trying to see if I can open a ticket. I like the router functions but at the same time the current disconnects are becoming a real issue.

i just read about OISD list causing these issues. I removed it from an active blocking target list and so far, 8 hrs and counting, no drops of the WAN.
Saw a report here:

It is not possible for OISD to cause WAN problems. It may cause issues with certain sites, but definitly not WAN.

I have Firewalla RED and for the past week I am experiencing exactly the same thing. My network has enterprise equipment and has been working with no changes great for the past 3-4 years.
What I noticed it to be is a DNS issue.
When the issue happens, which is 2-3 times every couple of hours, i can ping 8.8.8.8 but can not resolve any FQDN.
This is definitely a DNS issue that started about 10 days ago.
In order to troubleshoot further and pinpoint the issue, I have disabled monitoring on one of my workstations and on that workstation i dont have issues anymore.
Please note that P2P is non existent on my network.
I am hoping for a quick resolution!

I've been struggling with the same but not with the Plus, just the regular Gold in DHCP mode. It is hours of cumulated outages daily while Xfinity is saying there is no problem with them.
It does coincide with Xfinity increasing the speed and getting a brand-new faster modem and before that I did not have network quality monitoring but our internet some days has several hours of cumulated outages. With our previous older equipment, we never noticed internet dropping. So for me, it's hard to say if it is the ISP, the modem or FWG, although since many FW owners are complaining, that's a trend not to be ignored, there is no smoke without fire(walla).
Just to see I'm turning off OISD as well, because why not.
Update: turning off the filters did not do anything. Next step I'll bypass FW and put the AP in DHCP mode instead and test the connection that way. This will reveal if the intermittent connection is caused by FW or not for sure. -
Are you running in Router mode? @geotrouvetout67? If you are, and you have an xfinity router, and you turn that into bridge mode, and firewalla in router mode? if it is, try to change xfinity back router mode (you will get double NAT), and see if the problem goes away. We have another customer had an issue with XB6 or 7 in bridge mode and it is just that modem at times don't work in bridge mode nicely.

@nrs250, thanks a lot for chiming in.
I installed an Arris S33 in place of the Moto MB8611 yesterday and since then it has been running without a single drop, not even any packet loss.
I've been struggling with this for over a year. I kinda suspected that the modem could be the cause, but it is approved by Xfinity, they were not detecting any fault with it so I did not take the initiative to replace it before your comment.
I'm glad it is ruling out the FWG as well because I really like that router.
