I have retrieved the Purple from the other location. I've added it to my network here (home) and it does the same thing. It blinks red.

I can get the Diagnostics to run and I get this:

Just to be complete: this Purple is on my home network which is manage by a FWG.  The cable used is the same cable that works fine with a laptop.

OK, five minutes later, I ran the Diagnostics again and it got one step further.

EDIT: I waited 10 minutes and the Diagnostics worked all the way through, then tried it again and it failed at Ping Test.

You have a case open on this already, best just reply to our support directly, it is going to be a bit faster than posting

Bit of a late reply but does your ISP use MAC address locking?  This is an annoying thing that some (like mine) do, they lock access to a specific MAC address or small pool of MAC addresses and so won't respond to traffic from anything else.

Did you ever get this solved. I am experiencing the same issue.

The resolution was that I worked with support and my box had a bad ethernet port. It was under warranty at the time and they swapped it out.

That was 2 years ago and the replacement Purple has been rock solid ever since.

I believe they isolated it to a batch of serial nimbers, but not 100% sure.
