Disney+ knows location despite VPN

I'm using a VPN from France to my Firewalla Red in the UK.  Most streaming services work as if I'm at home in the UK but *somehow* Disney+ knows I'm in France, how are they doing this??  I have all the location services turned off, etc.

  Which VPN are you using? If you're using OpenVPN, you need to ensure "redirect-gateway def1" is in the config.

  This solved my issue.

  No clue if there is an equivalent if using WireGuard.

  Thanks Derrick.  Sounds promising.  I am using the OpenVPN Connect client (v3.3.6) on Windows 11.  My current trouble is finding the config file!  The Internet tells me it should be in a config folder but my install doesn't have that in either the Program Files (x86) app install or the Windows users AppData folders.

  All thoughts welcome.

  Unfortunately, I'm a Mac guy (my Windows days are long gone), so I can't help you with config file hunting.

  If using OpenVPNGUI there should be a "edit config" if you right-click the tray icon and highlight your connection. If not, look for it in C:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config (64 bit version puts it here, not x86)
