Are you trying to connect to your RPI4 remotely? or LAN? if LAN traffic does not go through firewalla. If remote, you will need to port forward on the router, not firewalla

I used this guide to set up my RPI: https://peyanski.com/home-assistant-remote-access/

Soon as Firewalla took over, it killed all access both on LAN and remotely and only way to get back in is to remove monitoring.

Linkly your main router may not be forwarding correctly, can you double check the port forwarding there? Also, the purple se should be a pretty good router (featureful) for slow networks, you really should try to use the router mode.

Yep works a treat now I've set it as my router, just need to fix a few rules on my network where I've set port forward and had static IP addresses for a couple of devices.

Great! The Purple SE strength is router and bridge modes :)

Everything working well so far. Just a generic question, I'm using an Netgear Orbi Rbk50 mesh network with a few extra satellites. Should I be turning off monitoring on the satellites and the router? It's set in AP mode. Is there a lot of extra processing done by Firewalla box over the backhaul channels if I leave monitoring on?

If you are running in router mode, you do not need to do anything extra. It should just work. Firewalla does not touch the backhaul channels.

    Update:

The final shipment of the Purple SE is more likely in early March instead of late February. This is due to the app version 1.53 may need a bit of time to mature on the other platforms.

Just wanted to say thanks. Been having serious issues with my broadband speed. Using Purple SE in router mode and running speed tests identified that there was an issue with my Virgin Media hub as speed kept dropping on the tests. End result, they upgraded me to a new Superhub 5 and my speed has been solid for 2 days now.

On the back of this, I'd love it if the automated speed test could be set to run more frequently than once a day. Could you open this up so it could be set to run hourly during a set time-range?
