Wake on LAN - VPN
I am trying to complete a wake on lan over VPN. since the VPN IP scheme is different than my internal IP scheme my mobile app is not able to send the magic packet. I saw a post about sending the command via linux. I have attempted to install etherwake and wakeonlan to the Firewalla, but it keeps giving me an error and saying I need to 'apt --fix broken install'. any help would be great.

Did you ever get this figured out? I'm not sure why, but in order to install wakeonlan I had to
cd /
before trying to apt-get install. It kept giving me an error about unalias apt-get or something that wasn't any help and didn't change anything. Once in the root folder, however, I was able install wakeonlan and finally send magic packets from the Firewalla itself, giving me the very ability you are trying to achieve here. Very cool!

FYI, WOL will be supported natively over the app 1.52. It is one of the items there. https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/10221985597331-Firewalla-Box-Release-1-975-App-Release-1-52

Super! Well, at least I had fun figuring out how to get it working. I've spent quite a bit of time lately setting up various ways to wake certain PC's from home and on the road, and being able to do it from the Firewalla app will replace pretty much all of them (unless I'm too lazy to grab my phone, of course). Very useful to me, can't wait to try it out!
