device/client uses DoH, does it bypass Firewalla DNS Booster/cache?

since DHCP clients on the LAN request DNS unencrypted to FWG, and FWG goes out via DoH .... what happens if the client device has DoH set up on their computer?

In this scenario: (1) does the client device bypass the FWG? (2) is the only way to funnel this is to block DoH/DoT/DoQ servers? In this case, would the clients just not load anything on their side or do they get a message of some sort from somewhere?
