VPN when connected to Firewalla LAN
I set up wireguard vpn server in Firewalla. Now I can connect my mobile devices to vpn when away from home. unfortunately there is no easy and reliable way to auto connect and disconnect to vpn when connected to or disconnected from certain Wi-Fi networks. I tested several automation with no success. Normally I would have no problem to hold vpn connection even if I am locally connected to Firewalla network. But for obvious reasons the bandwidth of my mobile is only half of that without vpn. Away I am fine with that but locally I would prefer full bandwidth. Is there any way to redirect vpn to local firewalla host or IP without disconnecting vpn when network switches? Some seemless transition to local connection?
Using Android 12,Samsung Galaxy.

Having exactly the same problem here. Just set it all up and was quite disappointed the Android App doesn't have that feature. I also tried to automate it but so far without luck.
Can we perhaps put this down as a feature request: FW app with own Wireguard VPN client that would disable the tunnel when on local WiFi?
Or anybody got a better idea? :-)

I've been using VPN Client Pro (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=vpn+client+pro&c=apps&hl=en_US&gl=US) on Android to connect to my FWG with Wireshark and OpenVPN. It supports auto-connect for both types of VPN. I have mine set up to automatically connect when on the cell network or an unknown WiFi network, and to disconnect when connected to my WiFi network. It's worked well for me, and maybe easier than using Tasker, although it is a paid app.
