FWG Gold - advice on best setup for security camera VLAN
Hi - I am getting a home security camera system installed. All the cameras are cabled via PoE to an NVR/Switch. I have then cabled that NVR/Switch into a port on the FWG. How do I configure that port with a VLAN/LAN to prevent the cameras & NVR talking to the rest of my network but still allow me to connect to the NVR to view the video feeds? I also want to allow specific internet access for backups to cloud storage. I am not a network expert and have not setup VLAN's before - does the FWG handle routing traffic from the IP range on my main LAN to a different network range on the Camera VLAN? Do I need a "VLAN" or just setup the one prt the NVR plugs into as "LAN 2"? I am a bit confused on the best way to do this so any advice would be appreicated!

You do not need to configure a VLAN on the camera, you can just setup a network segment for the NVR/Switch. (this is the port-based network segmentation) see https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408644783123-Building-Network-Segments#h_01FJ0EMPZVJDQF3CVFR492YN01
