    you only need this if you want totally independent controls of the firewall, or hiding another network within the network, such as you are doing experimentations (malware ... performance ... )

    We often use this in our home networks, running one unit in alpha/early access behind a product firewalla :) And the early access firewalla can isolate all traffic within that domain such wife/kids won't scream if we break the network

    Thank you! In this case, the 2nd FWG's WAN will be fed from one of the LAN ports of the 1st FWG, right? Both would act as routers in that case. 

    If I do this, anything I would need be mindful of (e.g. double NATting)?

    I'd suggest figuring out your use case first, then designing your network around that. For example, if two router mode gold are chained together, it will provide a double NAT. And in our case this is good, since we don't want the upper gold to talk easily to the lower gold ...
