Heartbeat message smaller than required length

I am using a Firewalla Purple in router mode. I occasionally receive an alarm "Heartbeat message smaller than minimum length. Probable attack" for my Synology NAS. Not sure if I need to take any action?

  Likely your NAS is port mapped open to the world. Is that what you intended? if not, turn off port forwarding to it.
