region whitelist working?
Hello - firewalla purple user.
I have a nat rule allowing a tcp port through for phone music listening. I have a firewall rule that allows that port from region "United States". Why is it that if I vpn on my phone to another region outside of the USA am I still allowed access to this port?
Wouldn't allow "USA" only imply block the rest of the world?
Thanks

Regions are not blocked by default. "Allowing" a region thus has no effect unless it was blocked beforehand. An allow rule does not create an inverted block rule.
I am a little surprised you might need a NAT rule to listen to internet music. Normally it would be your phone which establishes the connection, and that is permitted automatically without NAT. Did you test that you could not access it without the NAT rule?
